Cloud Connexion warrants to the original purchaser of its hardware that the hardware sold is free of  / from defects / faults in material or workmanship under normal use for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase thereof, subject to the following conditions:

 

 1. The warranty shall apply to the product as reflected in the purchase order, provided the product is still owned by the original purchaser and provided further that it was purchased in and is retained for use in the Republic of South Africa.

2. At any time within 12 months from the date of purchase by the original purchaser, Cloud Connexion shall at its election repair or replace without cost to the purchaser, at its own regional office or through an authorised dealer, any part in the product found to be defective by such regional office or authorised dealer. If the original purchaser resides in an area situated beyond a 50 km radius from the nearest regional office or authorised dealer, all travelling expenses incurred by the company in connection with repair or replacement of the product shall be for the original purchaser’s account, in which event Cloud Connexion will provide the original purchaser with a quote for the estimated charges, which quote needs to be accepted in writing before any work will commence. 

Alternatively - The original purchaser shall inform Cloud Connexion immediately of any defective product in writing and return the defective product to Cloud Connexion at its own cost and risk.

3. Cloud Connexion assumes no responsibility for repairs or alterations, and the results of repairs or alterations made or attempted by unauthorized persons.  If it is found that an unauthorized person repaired, altered or tampered with the product, this warranty will be null and void.

4. This warranty excludes damage to the product resulting from accidents or improper use, or loss of equipment. Cloud Connexion shall not be responsible for damage to the product resulting from incorrect voltages or faults in the electrical power supply system, failure to use the product for the purpose for which it was designed, fire, flood, war, civil disturbances, strikes, lockouts, acts of God or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of Cloud Connexion.

5. The purchaser shall be liable for all costs incurred by Cloud Connexion inclusive of parts, repairs, labour, travelling and transportation where the product is found to be free from defects in materials or workmanship. Service requested and carried out where no fault is found with the appliance will be charged to the purchaser’s account.

6. This warranty does not apply to keypads or to items where the length of life depends on the amount of use and care given. This warranty does not apply to Fingerprint sensors where the sensor has been scratched in any form whatsoever.

7. This warranty is given in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied. Cloud Connexion will not accept any responsibility or liability for consequential loss suffered or damage of any kind caused to the original purchaser or any other person by or due to failure of operation or malfunction of the product.

8. This document together with the original purchase invoice serve as proof of purchase for warranty claim purposes. Service under warranty will only be carried out if this certificate, together with your purchase invoice, is produced. Failure to produce this certificate and your purchase invoice will result in a charge being levied for work done, even if the appliance is still claimed to be in the warranty period.

9. If a defect arises  and a valid claim is received within the Warranty period, at its option and to the extent permitted by law,  Cloud Connexion will either replace the defective product or refund the original purchaser within 14 (fourteen) days from date of receipt of such defective product after due investigation was done by Cloud Connexion to confirm the nature of the defective product.

 1. The warranty shall apply to the product, as reflected in the purchase order, provided the product is still owned by the original purchaser and provided further that it was purchased in and is retained for use in the Republic of South Africa.

2. At any time within 24 months from the date of purchase by the original purchaser, Cloud Connexion shall at its election repair or replace without cost to the purchaser, at its own regional office or through an authorised dealer, any part in the product found to be defective by such regional office or authorised dealer. If the original purchaser resides in an area

situated beyond a 50 km radius from the nearest regional office or authorised dealer, all travelling expenses incurred by the company in connection with repair or replacement of the product shall be for the original purchaser’s account, in which event Cloud Connexion will provide the original purchaser with a quote for the estimated charges, which quote needs to be accepted in writing before any work will commence.
